A QUICK & EASY BREAKFAST
Using CoAqua as the liquid in your Overnight Oats ensures you’re not adding fat, cholesterol or gluten.
To make overnight oats a la CoAqua, use a basic ratio of 1:1 oats to liquid for a creamy consistency, though some prefer a looser texture at a 1:1.5 ratio. For the oats: rolled oats work best, as they soak up liquid well and yield a creamy texture without getting too mushy.
Here's a guide you can adapt to your tastes:
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of rolled oats and
- ½ to ¾ cup of CoAqua.
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
- Honey (optional sweetness)
- Vanilla extract (optional flavour note).
- Toppings: selected fresh fruits, nuts, or shredded coconut
Method:
- Mix the oats, coconut water, chia seeds and any optional ingredients in a jar or bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours
- After soaking, add your choice of toppings for added flavour and texture.
